About Me
Hi all, my name is Poppy. I am 26 years old and have two children, a girl aged 5 and a boy who is 9 months old. I have over 10 years experience working with children of all ages and am looking for a lovely family to work with after being on maternity.
I am currently looking for Nanny/babysitting Monday-Friday (I am also available for weekend babysitting). I am preferably looking for hours after 9am as I have to drop my daughter to school at 8.40am but I am happy to put her into breakfast club if earlier hours are required. I am looking for a family that would be happy for me to bring my 9 month old son along but again if it is a problem I can look into him starting nursery.
I am DBS checked, have a certificate in pediatric first aid training, 10+ years experience and am fully qualified with a Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development Level 3.
As I previously mentioned I have 10+ years experience in nurseries with children aged 4 months - 5 years, a primary school with children aged 6-8 years, babysitting children from the ages of 9 months - 7 years and experience as a nanny for a 1 year old boy which I spent over a year with and most recently newborn twins. I was also a room leader at the nursery I previously worked at.

My first job in childcare was working as a Nanny looking after a 1 year old boy until I decided to become a nursery practitioner.
I was also a Nanny for newborn twins just before I had my little boy.
• Nursery
I have 5+ years experience working as a nursery practitioner in the toddler and preschool rooms. I was a room leader in the preschool room before I went on maternity leave with my daughter.
• Arts and crafts teacher:
I used to be a teacher for an after school club teaching Arts and Crafts to children aged 6-11.
• Babysitting/Child Minding:
I have experience in babysitting babies and children from the ages of 9 months up to 7 years.
Volunteer work/student experience:
• Nursery:
I volunteered in a nursery in June 2011 for 2 weeks with children aged 6 months to 5 years.
• Primary School:
I volunteered in a primary school for 2 days a week from January 2015 to July 2015.
