I am a caring, reliable, and fun person who loves working with children.
I have around fourteen years of experience caring for children, including the past eight years employed as a nanny to several families.
I am an 'Approved Nanny' with the CIW, which enables me to offer the tax-free childcare or the voucher system for parents if needed. It also enables me to support families who are receiving funding from government/local authority through Universal Credit.
I have a recent paediatric first aid qualification, I'm DBS checked, and have my own car. I have completed the Level 3 course in Homebased Childcare (CYPOP5) and have public liability insurance.
My Experience
I am currently a nanny for two lovely families. For one of my families I help care for three young children three days a week aged three, five and seven. Whilst the role includes nursery and school pick ups, we also have lots of fun and learning by visiting parks/playgrounds, going on country walks and playtime at home including painting, games and marble runs!
For my second family I work after school two days a week with four girls aged eight, eleven, fourteen and seventeen. This position involves school pick ups, preparing their evening meal and taking them to extra curricular activities. Whilst the girls are older now and the role is more routine based, we still get to have fun in the holidays!
Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of working for several other families caring for children of similar ages to the above. It is such a blessing to watch the little ones grow and develop, and be part of the older children's lives and development too.
I have also had many opportunities to care for and support children over the past fourteen years through the many childrens ministries which my local church runs. These include helping at the playgroup, creche, junior church and babysitting for different families.

Childcare qualification - Understand How to Set Up a Home Based Childcare Service (CYPOP5)
Paediatric First Aid.
University Degree - 2.1
A-levels and GCSEs.

We found Lisa on here to look after our 11 month old for the afternoon and evening whilst we attended a wedding locally. Lisa's communication was great from the first message and as the date approached she was very thorough with making sure she knew everything she needed to look after a baby she hadn't met before. She suggested we had a call before the day and Lisa seemed very professional and friendly and immediately made me feel at ease with the situation, which is not always the case if you are leaving your little one with someone you don't know. On the day, she turned up in good time and was confident and happy with our little one. She also updated us a couple of times during the day to let us know everything was going ok. I would definitely recommend Lisa if you are looking for a babysitter - she is experienced, friendly and professional.

We would highly recommend Lisa. The kids absolutely loved having her take care of them. My kids are both now in school all day so we haven't needed the extra childcare. But we really miss Lisa. Your kids will be in great care with her. Xxx

Our children absolutely adore Lisa. They look forward to spending time with her, they respect her and they are happy to be left with her in our home. She has been a great addition to our family over the last couple of years.
Highly professional and very organised at all times. She is very respectful of our children's routines, adheres to their every need and has the patience of a saint! She is dependable, punctual, very conscientious, trustworthy, and honest - she will always tell you what she is happy to do or not, so everyone knows where they stand. We were very nervous about leaving our children with anyone else, but it is a pleasure to have Lisa looking after them in our home.
