About Me
I am a nanny living in Tring.
Previously Ofsted registered and willing to become so again if needed (current job does not require it).
Although it's a while away, I'm looking for a position to begin in September 2026, when the family I currently work for will need to reduce my hours due to their child starting school.
I am flexible about hours and days. If something would work alongside reduced hours with my current family that would be great, if not, I would need a new position with a minimum of 30 hours a week.
(I also have the flexibility to begin 1 or 2 days before September)
My Experience
Before becoming a nanny I was a Primary School teacher for 8.5 years, teaching in London. I have 5 brothers and sisters, 9 nephews and 1 niece.
I am taking a break from teaching, and since January 2018 have been working as a nanny. I have a first aid certificate, PL insurance, clean driving licence with business insurance and DBS check. I have a 6 year old daughter.
I am happy to work term time only, equally happy to work all year round.
During my first 3 years as a nanny I worked for a family who have twin sons and a daughter. The boys were 1 year old and the girl 4 when I started. Once the boys started school I found a new main job, but continued to look after the children once a week after school. During my time with the family, I had a baby daughter, whom I was fortunate enough to be able to take to work with me. We both formed a lovely relationship with the three children and still love spending time with them.
From March 2021-July 2024 I looked after two siblings. Again, I was able to take my daughter with me, and the children have developed a good friendship which is still being maintained and a good rapport with me. Due to the youngest child starting school in September I was no longer needed as the family's nanny.
I then worked for a family with two little girls for a year, and am currently working for a lovely family with two little boys.
Alongside my nannying, I volunteered in a school for 2 years, working with small groups and on a one to one basis to carry out interventions. I have done private tutoring, and have helped out at a local pre school for their forest school and in-setting sessions when they have been short staffed. I am currently providing support alongside the main teacher at a home education learning hub.
I have a few regular families for whom I do evening/weekend babysitting.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Education honours Primary degree. Qualified in 2009. Paediatric first aid trained.

Naomi looked after our 2 children for a couple of weeks over the summer holidays. She was brilliant... outings, baking, playgrounds, library, reading books... the kids just loved her.
Our son is allergic to dairy and egg, and Naomi somehow baked the most delicious vegan chocolate cakes with him... no easy task!
Naomi was also consistently on time, dependable and a good communicator. So glad we found her through this website.
