About Me

Hello, my name is Rhianna-Clare
I am 29years old
I’m currently working part time as a Sen play worker for Westminster . I’m also a girl guides leader for a group in my local area that meet on a Friday evening.

I have been working with children since I was 12 years old as a dance teacher assistant where I used to have lessons. I have worked in many different Sen settings as a volunteer and as a staff member since the age of 16. I have also worked in Paediatric healthcare, I have worked with children and young adults ranging from the ages of 0- 30years of age. I have a special interest in looking after and working with children with cerebral palsy,Down syndrome and other motor neuro disabilities ,Although I do have lots of experience looking after babies and young children and really enjoy doing so.I am the proud auntie of a 9year old niece and a 5 year old nephew, who I occasionally help to look after. I have got a DBS check that I have put on the update service.

My Experience

I have done training in safe-guarding and Non-Abusive Psychological and physical intervention (also known as NAPPI) as well as messy play ,fire safety and food safety and first aid training in both paediatric and work based including EiPen. I am also epilepsy trained and have had training in tube feeding and suctioning. I did a year at South Essex College doing BA (hons) in special education studies ,I have also done autism awareness and disability awareness
