About Me
I’m a passionate and dedicated teacher with 9 years of teaching experience, both in the UK and internationally. I spent 2 years working abroad, where I had the opportunity to teach students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. This experience helped me develop a flexible and inclusive approach to teaching, allowing me to adapt to the individual needs of every learner.
More recently, I became a mum which has given me an even deeper understanding of the importance of patience, encouragement and nurturing a child’s confidence. I love helping children discover their strengths, overcome challenges and celebrate their progress.
My Experience
I’ve had nine years of teaching experience through a variety of ages and abilities. I have also taught internationally for two years, again broadening my knowledge across a variety of stages and ethnicities. Throughout this time I have had numerous amounts of training on planning and delivering lessons, including a focus of making thinking visible. I have also had makaton training to support those with communication difficulties to allow all children to take part confidently in my lessons.
