About Me

Hello, I’m Katherine, I’m from Wiltshire & my passion is supporting families & children to thrive.

A little bit about my experience. I have had a wonderful fifteen year long career in childcare, working with newborns up to five years.

I have had the great privilege to work alongside Midwives on a Maternity Unit, in the theatres, postnatal ward, labour ward & the NICU. I’ve been a Nanny for eight years, working in London, Wiltshire & Hampshire. I’ve worked in a child-led & Montessori nursery & on a cruise ship, working in the children's holiday club.

I am currently a Maternity Nurse for lovely first time parents in London.

I have a baby-led, attachment focused approach to Maternity Nursing & working with families. I think it’s important to look at a family from an holistic point of view.

I believe it really does take a village to raise children & that first magic, sacred chapter, the newborn stage, is where I’d join you & support you & your family with your new addition.

A bit about me. Outside of work I like to stay active, I play squash & go on hikes. I am writing a non-fiction book & several children's books.
I am a very down to earth, friendly person. I love being outside & at home with my two bunnies, baking & being creative.

I own a car & am happy to commute for the right family.

My Experience

I have fifteen years of experience in childcare under my belt. I have worked with newborn/premature babies up to 5yr olds.

I’ve learnt a whole variety of skills including;

Newborn: Breastfeeding support, breastfeeding to bottle, combi-feeding, sterilising, making up bottles (variety of formulas & breast milk), signposting parents for additional support, sleep support, nights, postpartum wellbeing, newborn safety, newborn developmental stages, general newborn care & newborn twins experience.

Young children: Potty training, milk to solids, playroom organisation, scheduling children's routines and diaries, sleep training and general childcare, organising children's parties, Wedding & Event Nannying & supporting children through their milestones of development.

I have an up to date CV & references which I will be happy to send upon request.

Please feel free to get in touch & we can book in a call. I look forward to hearing from you.
