About Me

I am a registered childminder living in Devizes. My daughter and 4 year old granddaughter live with me.
I currently care for 9 children part time and can take to and collect from Noah's Ark Nursery and Wansdyke Community School where I have good links.
I provide a fun and safe environment for the children in my care with a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment. I particularly enjoy craft and cooking activities and have a craft area which the children can easily access with supervision.
I have a small backgarden which is always accessible and regularly take the children to various parks and play areas.
I attend toddler groups and meet up regularly with other childminders. I am a member of the Devizes and District Independent Childminders and the professional organisation PACEY.
In my last inspection (September 2019) I was graded good.
I accept the government universal funding of up to 15 hours a week for 2, 3 and 4 years olds and the 15 hours extended entitlement.

My Experience

I have been a childminder since May 2007. Previously I ran a pre-school for 2 1/2 years where I achieved my NVQ 3 and took on the role as special educational needs coordinator with relevant training.
My first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene training is updated every 3 years.
I attend regular trainings that are available on a variety of topics to provide experiences which enable the children in my care to grow, learn and develop.
