About Me
Hello, my name is Mia. I am 36 and have been working with children for over 15 years in Early Years settings in the local area. I live locally and have a ten year old daughter. I consider myself to be confident and enthusiastic yet approachable with a warm, calm, kind nature.
I love the outdoors and spend most of my free time either at the beach, cycling or hiking. I am very active and am a massive advocate for outdoor activities and experiential learning. I consider every child an individual and celebrate and encourage each child‘s natural interest and talents by paying an active interest while catering to their style of learning.
Although I have spent many years working with-in early years settings, I feel nannying in the home gives the opportunity to work closely together to ensure the best for your child and to create good trusting relationships through rich quality communication and care.
I am looking for a three day week position Monday-Thursday. I can offer various support for you and your child/ren while being respectful of your wishes. In addition I can offer emergency childcare and nannying.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions. I am fully insured to work with in your home, am fully DBS checked and have very recently completed a full pediatric first aid course. And although not a legal requirement, I am in the process of becoming Ofsted registered.
My Experience
I have spent the last 15 years working with Early Years. My experience ranges from managing baby and toddler rooms in an early years setting to running afterschool clubs, parent and baby groups, supervising settings and supporting managers in their absence.
