About Me

I am a level 3 qualified childcarer with over 7 years experience in nurseries, schools and as a nanny. For the past year I have been a live-out nanny for a wonderful boy who was 11 months when I started. However the child is now off to nursery full time so I am no longer required by the family.

I have experience in the Reggio Emilia approach and an interest in Montessori and Gentle Parenting. I am naturally caring and friendly individual and a Native English speaker.

I’m looking for a full-time role, ideally around 40/45 hours a week.

My Experience

I have worked in multiple nurseries over the past 7 years, including a Reggio Emilia inspired nursery which gave me excellent experience in their child-led, holistic and gentle approach. Throughout my work I have spent most of my time working with children under 2 years but have professional experience with children from 4 months to 15 years. I have worked with children aged 4 - 11 who have special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, ODD, PDA, emotional trauma and challenging behaviour. Due to this, I am also restraint trained.

For the past year, I was working in SW London as a live-out Nanny for one child who was 11 months at the beginning of my employment. My role required me to support and nurture the development of the child through age/stage appropriate activities, classes and playdates, as well as provide nutritious, balanced meals and communicate effectively with the parents.
