Hi my name is Sarah.I am 52years old and I live in Amersham bucks.I am a mother to 5 grown up children and have 10 grandchildren.Im a qualified childminder since 2005 with a vast experience of working with children of all ages.I consider myself a very caring,patient and very friendly.Im passionate about working with children and I treat them as individuals and fairly. I’m in my element around children & elderly people, hence the reason I work in care.
I work well with interest and always make the wishes of parents a priority. Working within their guidelines & expectations, to keep the children I care for safe & healthy.
My Experience
I qualified as a childminder in 2005,my qualification is Cache level 3 ICP.I worked for several years in my own home childminding baby's and children up to the age of 8.Whilst doing so I attended various courses from Equal opportunities to Safeguarding children.I also went into do another course & gained a level 2 in pre school practise whilst working in a nursery.
I am a mother of 5 children and have 10 grandchildren so I have years of experience with children. My experience ranges from an au pair living in Spain, special needs nanny. I’ve also got experience in Senior care including personal care, dementia and companionship.
Latest role included housekeeping/nanny for 2 autistic siblings.
I take my role very seriously so my loyalty will always be to the family I’m employed by. If employed full time, that will be my priority but I am available out of those hours to work in my own time.
