About Me
I am 40, married and live in andover and I have a daughter age 15 who is at school. I love the outdoors and am very active. In my spare time I'm usually just at home with my family, being a taxi service for my daughter or walking our mad dogs. I love animals we have 2 dogs a Lurcher and a Springador. I am very open, honest and outgoing. I have a calm nature when it comes to children but also can be firm when needed. I thrive on routine in my home and work life.
Since becoming a mum myself I think it has only furthered my desire to work alongside families . I myself have the juggle of being a working mum so have compassion and understanding towards the parents I work for. I am very tidy and am always happy to do extra jobs around the house when needed. Having my own home I am aware that coming home to some of the never ending household jobs being done can make a huge difference. I also really enjoy cooking.
My Experience
I have been working with children for over 20 years I started out working in a day nursery then for the last 18 years I have been a nanny. I have done various different roles working with children from newborn right up to teenagers.
My current position is full time as a sole charge nanny for an NHS family looking after children aged 5,8 and 10. Now the children are at school I do housekeeping duties during the day before collecting the children from school.
I take them to after-school clubs cook dinner and also put the children to bed. I have been with them for 4 years.
In my previous position I also worked for an NHS family I started when the eldest child was 11 months I stayed with the family when their second child was born and worked alongside mum while she was on maternity leave. I stayed with the family for over 6 years until they moved away.
I have worked for multiple families on temporary positions. I also babysit and have done event nannying.
