Louise
Nanny in Southport
My Summary
About Me
Hi, my name is Louise. I am 40 years old and live in Southport. I am currently looking for a wonderful family to work with.
I have worked with young children for around 16 years, with 9 of those years spent supporting families directly. During this time, I have worked with families on both temporary and permanent bases, caring for newborns, babies, toddlers, and young children.
I hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, which can be checked at any time, and I am first aid trained (renewal due in November). I am also happy to obtain full insurance for the role and can provide excellent references.
For the past two years, I have worked in a management role within a different sector, but I have greatly missed working with children and families.
Before nannying, I worked within the Health Visiting team, carrying out baby clinics and developmental reviews. This gave me a strong level of knowledge and experience with children from birth to five years old. As part of this role, I also supported families with weaning, speech and language development, toilet training, sleep routines, and behaviour management.
Alongside this, I have experience running community play sessions and parenting courses. I have also worked part-time within a family home as a mother’s help, caring for two children, and I have previous experience working in nursery settings.
I have always loved working with children and, since becoming a mum myself, I genuinely understand the pressures parents face today. I pride myself on being caring, reliable, and supportive, and I would love to become a valued part of a family’s daily life.
My Experience
