Hello Mummies & Daddies,
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, a proud mum of two, and fully qualified with up to date training to provide the very best care, learning and support for your little ones.
I pride myself on being more than “just a childminder.” Caring for children is truly my passion, not simply my profession, and I always strive to go above and beyond to ensure every child in my care feels safe, loved, valued and happy.
I work closely in partnership with parents, focusing not only on care but also on each child’s development, wellbeing and confidence, helping them thrive both emotionally and educationally.
Choosing the right childcare is one of the biggest decisions a family can make, so I always encourage prospective parents to speak directly with families currently within my setting or read the wonderful reviews shared on my website. Building strong relationships based on trust, honesty and mutual respect is incredibly important to me.
At E17 Childminder, we are more than just a setting, we are a family and community.

My Experience
I am a proud mum to two wonderful daughters, aged 13 and 17. Alongside the hands-on experience of raising my own children, I come from a large family with eight siblings, and my mother was also an Ofsted Registered Childminder. Growing up in such a child-centred environment gave me a lifetime of experience caring for and supporting children of all ages.
I strongly believe that children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful experiences. My setting is designed to provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.
To enrich children’s development and experiences, I regularly arrange a variety of engaging group activities, including:
* Dance and music sessions
* Phonics sessions
* Baby yoga
* Football sessions (returning soon)
All activities, along with healthy vegan meals and snacks, are included at no additional cost.
We also host twice-yearly family gatherings, giving parents the opportunity to connect with one another while children enjoy being part of our wider E17 Childminder family and community.

* Ofsted Registered Childminder
* Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner (completed September 2025)
* Level 3 Diploma for Children & Young People’s Workforce
* Safeguarding & Child Protection trained
* Paediatric First Aid trained
* Enhanced DBS checked
* Experienced in using the Baby’s Days online learning journal system
* Promoting Positive Behaviour trained
* Planning, Progress & Assessment training completed
* Speech & Language training
* PREVENT Duty trained
* Food Hygiene certified
* Oral Health & Hygiene training (HENRY)
* Healthy Eating & Nutrition for the Really Young (HENRY)
Alongside the above, I regularly undertake additional specialist training and continuous professional development to ensure I provide the highest standards of care, learning and safeguarding within my setting.

My Availability
Monday-Thursday 8am to 5.45pm
(We kept a post COVID RULE) need 15mins to sterilise used toys & setting to have it ready for next day)
(other hours can be accommodated upon initial visit).
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£85per day (Under 36months)
£75 per day (37months+)
£16 Breakfast club & drop off ONLY
£30 after school & pick up
£115 Adhoc full day cover
Offer 15/30hrs free hours

Monira is an amazing childminder. When I first started the search for childcare I saw her page and was impressed with her view on childcare and education, but couldn't find a spot with her as she is quite in demand! Everything worked out eventually and my LO couldn't be happier. The setting is lovely, with baby classes and different activities, and I saw my baby thrive under her care. Most important of all, Monira is warm and affectionate and genuinely loves the children under her care.
Honestly couldn't find someone as committed and devoted to look after my baby.

Monira is a professional and passionate childminder, this was evident in our first meeting. Monira discussed with me her values and policies and I knew she was the right person to look after my child.
During my first visit my son and I felt so comfortable; as her family made us feel so welcome my son didn't want to leave.
My son is the oldest child (10) at the setting and he loves it. Monira has created a warm family environment for my son and I, and makes me feel at ease with leaving him in someone else's care. I get pictures, videos and updates on my son during the day, and Monira will always promptly call me back when I have a query and liaise with the school when I have needed her to. I am glad my son is cared for by someone like Monira.

I went to visit Monira about the possibility of childminding my then 13 month old son Joe & she seemed so nice & welcoming, her house was really well kitted out for young children & babies, she showed me all her certificates & came across v professional. I hope to maybe send Joe to be looked after by Monira in the future :-) Thx, Kate

Having conversed with Monira via this site, I found her friendly, professional and organised. On meeting her and her gorgeous family, I was delighted to find that, in person, she was also nurturing, with a lovely sense of humour and fun.
I think any child would be very fortunate to enjoy her early years with Monira.

The moment we met Monira and her family (her two beautifully behaved girls are a testament to her wonderful care), we knew she was right for us. Our son was at a small nursery before and when we moved we wanted a similar setting which was stimulating but small and caring. I also like children of different ages being together as I believe they learn more. After visiting many nurseries and quite a few Childminders I had seen quite a few different set-ups. Monira's house is very clean and well organised. My son is yet to start with Monira but we have already attended one of her quarterly birthday parties she organises for the children which was a lovely experience.

I came across Moniras website and was so impressed with the professionalism, reviews and obvious commitment she has to looking after children, that I was so pleased she was able to meet with us. Communication had been excellent and when we finally met face to face I was not disappointed. So well organised, caring and with a beautiful home and family I have no doubt that I would feel completely confident that my child would be happy and safe in her care.

I have met with Monira while looking for the right childcare for our little baby.
Being a very nervous first time mummy I have found the whole prospect of finding childcare for my daughter, the most painful and upsetting thing I have ever done.
After over a month of looking I have finally met a very professional, friendly and welcoming lady who made me feel very comfortable
I found Monira to be well organized as we discussed together her policies and procedures with regards to Health and Safety and Child development monitoring.
She creates a safe, happy and very clean environment (including a lovely garden) into which I would be confident to entrust my little one.

I've recently visited Monira whilst searching for care for my daughter. Whilst communication started, I immediately felt her professionalism. On the day when we visited her home, we were extremely impressed by how clean and tidy the place is. Whilst explaining her policies regarding taking care of the children, I can feel that she's very health and safety conscious. Coming from a professional background, she's very organised with the documentation for each child's progress. I'm especially impressed with the fact that she will invest the time to do regular development reviews on each child, which shows that she takes great care of children's physical, emotional and psychological development.

I just want to say a big thank you to Monira @ E17 Childminder, I was very sceptical about leaving my little girl with a child minder but as soon as i met with Monira my mind was put at ease she is friendly and very professional her place is very clean and organised for the safety of the children. My mind is at peace when am at work because i know my baby is in safe hands.

As soon as communication started with Monira at e17 childminders I had a good feeling about her. I visited her setting and it was quite clear from the time, money and effort Monira has invested into making her home a safe and welcoming environment for children to be in that this was the perfect place for my daughter. She not only has an obvious passion for children and their safety and development, but was really able to understand our needs as working parents too, as she herself has been a working mother. Her knowledge and proffesionalism was extremely reassuring and I am confident my daughter will enjoy her time in Monira's care.
