About Me

Hello Parents and Families,
My name is Yvonne. Im 45 years old and live in Hockley with my partner, nearly 4 year old son and friendly cat.
After many years of caring for children in various settings since leaving school, I gave up work to have and to care for my son and am now opening up my home as a childminder to care for children again.
We live in a quiet cul de sac, within walking distance of Hockley High Street and the station.
We have a well equipped toy room and garden space for the children to learn, play and have fun in a safe, clean, warm and nurturing home setting designed to stimulate your child’s growth and development.
I am a kind, caring and fun individual who is extremely reliable and flexible and always do my upmost to keep the children in my care, happy, safe and in a loving and stimulating environment.

My Experience

I have 27 years of childcare experience caring for children of all ages from birth to teenagers. I have worked in a nursery, as a private nanny and a school run nanny.

My Qualifications

Ofsted Registered.
DBS checked.
BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies.
NCFE Cache Level 3 Award- preparing to work in home based childcare.
Paediatric First Aid Trained.
Safeguarding Training
Prevent Duty certificate
Food hygiene Certificate
Member of Pacey (professional Association for childcare and Early Years) for continuing Professional Development .

My Availability

I am available to care for children between the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

I highly recommend Yvonne.

She is a lovely lady and took great care of both of my children, they absolutely they love her. Yvonne is fun and very reliable, will definitely be going back for some babysitting etc.
