Hi my name is Laura I'm 27 years old. I live in Balderton with my partner Mark and my daughter who is one in August. I have my own car with a full uk licence that I've held for 9 years.
My Experience
I currently work at my local special needs school as a specialist support TA. I have worked there for 4 years and had experience working with all age ranges. I also work at hawtonville young peoples centre as a youth worker on a mon and wed evening. During my maternity leave I have been helping out with childcare for friends and for new mums returning to work needing childcare support. So enjoy both educating and having fun with children.
Before this I have worked at Chuter Ede primary school for 6 years.
I also do some ad hoc PA hours with a lovely lady with cerebral palsy.
My Qualifications
I completed child care at GCSE level since then I have gained my CACHE Level 2 & 3 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (QCF) England. Aswell as CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.
I have also done lots of teacher training courses including first aid, makaton, adhd , autism, challenging behaviour ect.
