About Me

Hi, my name is Janet, I live in Hardingstone with my Husband and youngest daughter aged 18, we also have 3 grown up children who no longer live at home. We have two small dogs.

I have been childminding for 25 years. I have a BA Hons in Early Years and have Early Years Teacher Status. I work with an assistant who has a level 3 qualification in Early Years and is a mum of 3.

At my setting I have a well resourced, dedicated playroom and a large child-friendly enclosed garden. We take the children on regular outings; for example Forest school sessions, Castle Ashby Gardens, Salcey Forest, Irchester country park to name a few.

I use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to observe, asses and plan for each child's individual development and learning, working in close partnership with parents to enable children to thrive and achieve their full potential.

I’m really fussing with who has my child, my anxiety is so bad but Janet Is wonderful! After just 2 maybe 3 sessions my son now waits for the gate to open and goes running in, he’s loving it and that’s a huge huge thumbs up for me! I can’t thank Janet and her team enough ❤️❤️
