Hello,
My name is Aliki.
I have worked in Childcare for over 10 years in the UK, Russia, Italy and Greece.
I think there is no better feeling than helping parents with what is most precious in their lives and shaping the future of a child. My main focus is that the children in my care are happy!!! I believe it takes a great amount of trust to leave your children with (what at the beginning is) a stranger and I take great pride that people have that confidence in me. I enjoy becoming a part of a family that I work for and have kept excellent relationships with all the families I have worked for in the past. I believe I am very reliable and trustworthy person and try to help out whenever I can even if that is out of my working hours.
In my free time I enjoy swimming, cooking and traveling.
I am fluent in Greek and speak Italian to a conversational level.
I am also a qualified Sleep Consultant.
My Experience
10 experience in Childcare having worked in a number of different establishments such as schools, nurseries, summer camps, Children's Cooking Schools etc. I have worked as a nanny for 6 years having worked in the UK, Italy and Greece. I worked as a Governess for a VVIP family in Moscow, Russia while also working in a Montessori Nursery. I have also worked as an English language teacher, teaching English as a foreign language. I have excellent references which are available on request.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Psychology. In my last year at University I specialised in Child Development and wrote my dissertation on Bilingualism in Children.
My Availability
I am currently searching for a 30-40 hour a week position and I am available to start a new job immediately.
