About Us

Hello we are Brookfields day nursery and kids club, Privately owned and run by Zoe Moore and Elly Ward, we both have many years experience of caring for children. We are ofsted registered and recently had a 'good' rating from ofsted.
We have two full day nursery settings we are located in Hatton and Hilton Derbyshire. we also run an after school club from Richard Wakefield school in Tutbury. we do offer after school care within the nursery for both Hatton and Hilton. we offer childcare from birth to 12 years old. Our nursery: (Hatton )Is all on one level, with lots of space for each age group, the baby room has its own outdoor play area, sleep room and sensory room. Our babies enjoy lots of sensory and messy play.
Our toddler room is over two rooms we have a messy play room with lots of malleable, painting, arts and crafts. and the main room with toys and games.
Our toddlers and pre-school have a split outdoor play area and lots of other toys and activities for them to do. We like to get out whatever the weather wearing all in ones. Pre-school have their own outdoor learning environment which currently operates as their messy play area they have access to this from 9am to 3 pm everyday.
Our Hilton setting is a large house and has an annex at the back fro Pre school too. we have four age group rooms. we have babies birth to 18months approx, Tweenies 18months to 2 1/2 years approx, toddlers 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years approx and pre school 3 1/2 to school. We have a large outdoor area attached to our pre school for them to have free flow available. our Tweenies also have a smaller free flow area and then can share the toddler large play area. Babies have their own smaller play area.
Our kids club: We have a range of activities and games.

We are open Monday-friday 7:30am until 6pm

We now use tapestry an online learning Journey, allowing parents to see their child's learning at home. we can share photographs and videos with you of your child and you can share things you have done at home with us to.

Is your child aged from 9 months old? Did you know you can claim up to 30 hours free childcare? No? Well give us a call to find out more information on how to claim your free nursery sessions. eligible parents must be working and you can apply for this on childcare choices. once you have a code your child can start nursery from the next term.
