Nanny in London (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
Warm, Experienced Nanny & Maternity Nurse | Sen Experience | Newborn–Early Years
About Me
Hello, I’m Sarah. I am a highly experienced childcare and family support professional with over 10 years of experience caring for children from newborn through early childhood in both private family homes and residential family support settings.
I specialise in providing calm, structured, and nurturing care, particularly for children with additional needs. My experience includes supporting children with autism traits, speech and hearing differences, developmental delays, and Prader–Willi Syndrome. I have strong knowledge of sensory-aware care, behaviour management, emotional regulation, and working alongside therapists and healthcare professionals to provide consistent support for children and families.
I am also a qualified Postnatal Maternity Nurse with Paediatric First Aid, an enhanced DBS, and extensive training in SEND, autism awareness, behaviour support, and early childhood development. In addition, I have training in lactation and breastfeeding support, allowing me to help new mothers with early feeding, understanding milk supply, and establishing positive feeding routines in those important early weeks.
I am confident supporting newborn care, safe sleep guidance, feeding and weaning, developmental play, and creating healthy routines that help babies and children feel secure and thrive.
Families describe me as warm, reliable, and intuitive. I aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported, confident, and able to develop at their own pace.
I am currently open to additional babysitting or weekend nanny roles and would love to support families who value a nurturing, development-focused approach to childcare.
Outside of work I enjoy yoga, boxing, reading, travelling, volunteering, and spending time with animals.
