About Me
I'm Susie. I'm 36 years old- born and raised in Surrey. Fully qualified. Currently looking for babysitting and/or a part time position. I have lots of experience with kids (more so with under fives, but would be happy to look after older).
I have had 9+ years experience working with children in nurseries.
I LOVE working with children. Most of my experience is with children from about 6 months up to 5 years, but I have looked after children older than this, on occasion.
I am a very enthusiastic, fun and caring person and have bags of energy. I have had a lot of responsibilities given to me from my previous job and I am confident of my capabilities. I get on well with most people and enjoy trying out new things. I love doing arty things with children as well as any physical activities they may enjoy and also enjoy cooking too.
I love being outside and have always been an outdoorsy sort of person. It’s so good to get outdoors- even when it’s raining. I much prefer to be outdoors than in front of a screen. And if you’re kids like to get a bit mucky, I love that, so we’ll get on well.
My Experience
Lots of experience with the baby, toddlers and pre-schoolers, working in each of the rooms in a nursery in Farnham, Surrey.
Also worked in a nursery in Australia- mainly with the toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Lots of babysitting!
Working for Disability Challengers in Farnham- with teenagers.
Volunteered at an orphanage in Thailand and as an English teacher in Thailand with primary aged children.
Worked in a nursery in Bristol primarily in the toddler room.
My friends are also of the age where they have now had babies, so I feel very comfortable being around babies that are around new born sort of age.
My Qualifications
Level 3 childcare qualified.
Also (not related) but I have a Fashion Promotion degree.
My Availability
I’m very flexible at the moment. The days are very open but I’d like to keep some evenings free for activities however if you need help with babysitting I can move things around and am also very open to last minute help.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
