My Experience

I have over 40 years experience of working with children from birth to 19.
The establishments in which I have gained my experience include: The child development unit at two hospitals. A premature baby unit. I opened my own play group when my children were younger. I worked at a local special school for nine years. Here I worked with children with a variety of physical disabilities, autism and PDA. I then moved onto being involved at two children centre's delivering group sessions and supporting families. I worked as a team supporting a young lady with additional needs in her own home. I delivered Baby Massage sessions in the home setting around the High Peak area. Most recently I did a few years on supply in a day nursery setting. I have had the experience of some lovely and rewarding nanny positions.
At present I am working part time as a nanny.
All this experience has enriched me with working with a variety of age groups of children and settings. Everyone has been valuable and I have loved the opportunities. I consider myself caring and responsible. I treat every position with great respect, and enjoy nurturing every child to reach their full potential, whilst having fun as well!

My Qualifications

N.N.E.B. ( Qualified Nursery Nurse.)
I.A.I.M. ( Qualified Infant Massage Instructor.)
Paediatric first aid.
Food Hygiene.
Advanced Safe Guarding.
I have also completed other courses.

• Nannying from £13.50 per hour (gross)
