About Me
Hello, my name is Rachel, and I am an OFSTED registered childminder living in Fleet, Hampshire with my husband and two children. We moved from Denver, Colorado 12 years ago and are happily settled in Fleet.

I studied English and Psychology at Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. Before becoming a childminder, I worked in journalism and later in Public Relations for a New York-based company. In 2005, after my daughter was born, I transitioned into childcare - a role that has brought me deep fulfillment. I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, joyful environment where children feel supported and thrive. Watching them grow with confidence and curiosity is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Rachel is currently looking after my little girl who is 2 and my little one absolutely loves it. Rachel is so lovely, kind and caring. Does so much fun stuff for the kids and keeps me up to date with everything. I would highly recommend Rachel X

Our 15 month old started with Rachel just a few weeks ago after having a bumpy start at nursery and it’s been the best decision. Since we’ve moved him to Rachel’s, he comes home so happy and we can already see how much he is learning with her. Rachel is such a lovely, understanding, kind and caring person. She opened her home and her setting to us early on and hosted many settling in sessions to ensure our son had the best possible start. He settled in pretty much immediately and we haven’t looked back since. Thank you Rachel, we really do feel so lucky to have you :)

Our son attended Rachel’s setting for 3+ years, he absolutely loved it.
Rachel’s setting allowed him to develop in every way a parent could ask for.
We would always recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a childminder:)
