Hello! My names Lauren and I'm 32 years old. I am a mummy to a cheeky little 14 month old girl Millie
I am very friendly and bubbly with a lot of love to give.I have a huge passion for working with children it's an extremely rewarding job and I love how everyday is different. I'm very creative and LOVE getting messy with the little ones! Your never too old for crafts! And baking cakes! I love anything imaginative! & love the outdoors.. taking day trips to the parks, farms and woodland areas. As well as having quiet days at home. DISNEY movies are the best for a rainy day! So i would love to find a family happy for me to be out and about! I have very good knowledge with researching different playgroups, activities to do around the area I work in & have a lovely social nannying group.
I'm a huge animal lover! So your pets would also be very looked after! Im very reliable and flexible. I have a drivers licence and happy to use my car.
My Experience
I started working with children in 2008 after 2 years of hairdressing (very different I know!) I've had 7 years working in 2 day nurseries mainly in the 2-3 unit however I have worked from babies - preschool Within the nursery setting. I'm very confident with all ages. Throughout this time I gained my NVQ 2 and 3 along with my first aid and many other training courses.
Out of work I also have a wide range of babysitting families.
Whilst traveling in Australia 7 years ago we stopped in Melbourne where we worked for 5 months. This is where I decided to try out nannying! I absolutely LOVED it! Working with a variety of wonderful families who I miss very much! It's amazing how much of a bond you can gain within 5 months. I had to leave my families to continue my travels. Goodbyes are the worst! Ages ranged from 3 months to 15 years.
I returned home from my traveling in 2014 in Sandhurst where we stayed for 5 years and became a nanny again to 3 families in that time. I absolutely loved it! Kids really do bring me so much joy. My families ranged from 3 months - 9 years.
One last trip back to travel again! Lead us to leaving the uk again in 2020 ( peak of the pandemic! But just in time to make it over to New Zealand and oz before their borders closed! Sydney is where I found 2 wonderful families to nanny for with a mix of ages between 1-6 years. Each having 3 kids each So I’m used to chaos! ? The more kids.. the more fun, love and adventure in my eyes!

My Availability
I’m currently nannying in camberley for 3 totally fun kids 6,4 and 2! Plus my little bundle of joy! So again it’s a crazy Wednesday and Thursday for me but I love it! & being able to bring my daughter along is a bonus for me. The kids all love her and play so nicely together.
I still have the rest of the week free for some extra work. Whether that’s a full day, half day or babysitting hours. Happy to do some school holidays as an ad hoc arrangement also.
