I am an active 27-year-old who loves working with children! I've worked with children since i left school at 16 and it's been one of the most rewarding jobs I've done.
I love getting lost in messy play, art, crafts and just having fun, but of course with some boundaries if need be! Absolutely love going for walks and adventures too!
I am very flexible and good at using my own
initiative, I am happy to help with household tasks and also any pet care! I have pets of my own, so I am so happy to help out wherever needed.
I am registered with SSSC and PVG Scheme and have Public Liability insurance. Also I'm happy to get a DBS check for anyone who wishes me to!
My Experience
I went straight into working as an apprentice at a private nursery when I was 16 and went on to complete my SVQ Level 3 qualification for social services for children and young people!
I have 10 years experience, I worked in private nurseries, as well as an afterschool club and done some nanny jobs in between. I then went on to work as a personal assistant for my boss, who has Cerebral Palsy and had twin boys who I have helped him bring up from birth (now 6 years old). I'm currently a full time Senior Practitioner in a Preschool room at a charity based nursery but always looking for different opportunities. I am more than happy to provide a reference information.
I have looked after children from ages birth to 12 years old, including on my own in children's age ratios in nurseries

Clare has been our nanny for 9 months and she has been such a positive addition to our family. We are very sorry indeed to see her go which is entirely down to the economics of us now requiring PT hours and Clare needing a FT post. In an ideal world we would have kept her on.
I can wholeheartedly vouch for Clare's description of herself and skill set. She is positive, enthusiastic, always punctual, has plenty of initiative and is a great multi-tasker, juggling a 3, 5 and 8 year old and a puppy with ease. They all adore her. She will be greatly missed by our household.
