Husband and Wife Childminding team providing a fun, safe & homely environment

We have 1 dog ( Golden Retrievers)

We have 4 girls of our own, aged 20, 19, 16 & 2 who are very energetic & cheerful

I became an Ofsted Registered childminder in October 2015 and my husband Phil is my Assistant. We were graded good at our last inspection in September 2023

we are friendly & approachable, we also love to be surrounded by Children.

We can offer constant play and attention, providing special care to each child ensuring they are settled and cared for.

The laughter of children is definitely the heart of our home.

Kind, patient and caring.

5 stars

Little stars really helped our daughter settle in to their childcare setting.. After staying at home with mummy until 3 years old she struggled with separation anxiety terribly. Lisa and Phil made her feel comfortable and welcome to the point where she eventually would skip down the path and not look back. It really put our minds at ease knowing she was being well cared for.
I can't recommend little stars enough.

Excellent childminder

Both of my boys have gone to little stars. Its a lovley homely setting. Lisa and her family are so nice and my boys love them to bits.

Excellent Childminder

This is a really nice setting with a dedicated husband and wife team, my 3 year old son really enjoys spending time here, my 5 year old son gets dropped off and picked up from the local school with no issues and also enjoys spending time with the couple.
The couples 3 daughters enjoy playing with the children welcoming them into their home, they are a really asset to the setting.

Negative points this is a childminders and not a nursery, the couple do need to take time out for family holidays, sickness etc. If you can arrange childcare to cover these short periods this is an ideal setting, (they always give plenty of notice for planned closures, emergency closures for sickness can be more challenging).
