About Me

I am a self employed nanny currently looking for a new family. I am open to discussing my availability depending on what days you require. As a nanny, I provide 1:1 childcare within the child’s home setting, so I would come to you.

I have worked as a nanny for nearly 12 years now and previously worked in a private nursery for 3 years as well as in a primary school as a teaching assistant for a short period. I have experience with new borns and up to the age of 13 years old, as well as experience with special needs. I have a full drivers license as well as a clean DBS and an up to date first aid qualification.

As a self-employed nanny, I really value building a trusting relationship with the families I work with and having the freedom to take the lead in my role.

I particularly enjoy working with families who are happy for me to independently plan and manage the children’s day - whether that’s heading out to groups and activities, meeting friends for playdates, exploring the local area, or simply creating fun days at home.

I find children thrive when they have a consistent routine and know that their nanny has the freedom and autonomy to make decisions throughout the day. I therefore work best in a relaxed environment where parents feel comfortable giving me the space to get on with my role, while knowing I’ll always keep them updated and communicate openly.
