About Me
Hi, my name is Yvonne ?
I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Shaw, West Swindon, where I live with my husband David, my daughter Emilee (13) and our son Oliver (3).
I have recently reopened my childminding setting and am excited to welcome new families into a warm, safe and nurturing home environment.
I provide a caring, home-from-home setting where children can learn, play and develop at their own pace. I am passionate about supporting children’s confidence, independence and wellbeing through a range of fun, engaging activities both at home and on outings.
I offer:

Regular outdoor play and local outings
A strong focus on safeguarding and child wellbeing
I also offer school drop-offs and collections from Brookfield Primary School.
I understand how important it is to find the right childcare, and I aim to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents.

My Experience
I have a wide range of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborn babies through to teenagers.
I have previously worked in a nursery setting, where I gained valuable experience supporting children’s early development, learning through play, and working as part of a team to meet individual needs.
I was also a registered childminder with an agency for over a year, where I cared for children in a home-based environment, following EYFS guidance and building strong relationships with both children and their families.
In addition to my professional experience, I am a mum myself, which has given me a deep understanding of children’s needs, routines and development at every stage.
I am confident, caring and passionate about providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered, DBS checked, EYFS trained and have my paediatric first aid certificate.
