Didn't have a good experience with Elaine, she was too fuzzy about getting payment and would usually sound rude to me, refused to make a refund to me for when she was off sick, she insisted it would be rolled over to the next month even when i explianed that i was out of pocket cos i had to pay an emergency childminder for when she was off sick. My daughter refused to go back there one day and that's when I knew she was not happy there. Elaine said that I would give her 1 month notice period without me consenting to it on paper, we argued about this but i let it go, she later cancelled without giving me a notice period and even refunded the two days left. When I asked why she cancelled, she said I had already giving her notice period which I never did. Absolutely didn't communicate nicely to me for the period I was with her. Would not recommend.

I am some what shocked you have resulted to this. Very petty. You were intimidating me to the point I could not work for you anymore, so when you gave me notice I was was happy to accept it and when you tried to retract it, I refused. If things were so bad then why did your daughter always seem happy at mine, (you even told me so on pick ups) and you want to carry on with my services. I have many parents that would be happy to say that this so not true. As for payment you bombarded me with request messages on the Friday, you only had to wait till the Monday for It to be deducted from your February payment. It is sad you are trying to ruin my lively hood, just because I would not retract your notice. I also, didn't appreciate your husband knocking my door the way he did either, it was very nerve racking.
My children came across to Elaine after a bad experience with a previous childminder, she made them feel very welcome, at ease.
She is very flexible, with my ever changing needs, being a working mum, and that is greatly appreciated.
