About Me
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder who works alongside a trusted assistant. I am an energetic parent with a caring and fun-loving nature.
Together, we have a real passion for creating a fun and nurturing environment for our little ones that encourages independence and confidence.
Our days are filled with story time, messy play, trips to the park, and making the most of local playgroups, song sessions, and outings.
We chose childminding as a career because we genuinely love caring for children and feel privileged to support them as they grow, learn, and develop. We strongly believe that a child’s happiness is at the heart of their development, and we are always thinking of new and creative ways to support each child’s individual needs.
Working closely as a team allows us to provide consistent, high-quality care and individual attention for every child.
We provide a safe, secure, happy, and homely environment where children and families feel welcomed and supported. We are passionate about offering high-quality, diverse, and bespoke play opportunities, and have a strong understanding of the vital role play has in children’s learning and development.
We follow the EYFS guidelines throughout our setting to ensure children are supported to reach their full potential.
Our setting is conveniently located between Berrylands, Tolworth, and New Malden. We are flexible and easy-going, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss your childcare needs.
My Experience
I am a mother of 3 children.
I have been childminding for many years with an agency but didn’t move to ofsted until 2021
Before childminding I worked in a primary school in various departments.
My Qualifications
As a registered childminder
I have completed and passed my CACHE level 3 in childminding.
I have up to date training in safeguarding and child protection.
I have a current paediatric first aid certificate.
Current DBS
Regularly attend courses relating to child development.
I have a good understanding of the EYFS and implement this throughout my setting.
My Availability
My working hours are 8:00 - 6:00 Monday-Thursday
My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour

Charlie and Emily have been hugely supportive to our family and we could not be happier with the care that they give our children.
Our 20 month old has been with Charlie and Emily for 8 months and is thriving. We drop her off in the morning knowing that she is receiving the best possible care. She suffered with separation anxiety when I returned to work and would get upset when she was left with anyone other than us. Charlie and Emily soon won her over and really put my mind at ease which hugely assisted with my return to work.
Charlie also assisted with wrap around care for our eldest and she thoroughly enjoyed her time with them and would happily regale us with stories of her time there.
Charlie really does offer a platinum service providing children with a nurturing, caring and fun environment enabling them to thrive. The children are constantly creating artwork, engaging in outdoor, creative and messy play, attending playgroups and learning new skills. She is extremely accommodating, experienced, warm and reliable and keeps us regularly informed of their adventures and provides helpful developmental updates.
We don’t have family in the local area but our girls see Charlie and Emily as an extension of their family.
We feel extremely fortunate to have found Charlie. It really is a home from home setting.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of having Charlie care for our two daughters, and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
We were new to the area when we were fortunate enough to be recommended Charlie. From the very beginning, she made us feel so welcome as parents, and it was clear how much she genuinely cared about our children.
Our youngest has been with Charlie since we moved to the area, with Charlie also providing wraparound care for our eldest, who started at Grand Avenue. Having previously used a private nursery for our eldest in the Earlsfield area, we have really noticed the difference that having someone who cares just as much about your children as you do can make to their happiness, confidence and development.
We regularly receive updates on all the wonderful activities they get up to, and rarely a day goes by without them being out adventuring, exploring and discovering something new. Charlie creates such a fun, nurturing and stimulating environment, and it’s lovely to see how much the girls enjoy their time with her.
Most importantly, we have complete peace of mind knowing our girls are so well cared for, happy and having the best time. Charlie is a truly special childminder, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for someone who will love and care for their children as if they were her own.

Our three-year-old has been in Charlie’s care since September, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. She has settled in so beautifully and is always so happy and excited to go in each day.
Charlie, alongside her assistant Emily, are incredibly friendly, welcoming and approachable. They go above and beyond to listen to both the children and their parents, taking the time to understand and accommodate each child’s individual interests, likes and dislikes.
Our daughter regularly comes home excitedly telling us all about the wonderful things she has been doing throughout the day, which is so lovely to hear. We also really appreciate how convenient and thoughtful Charlie makes her childminding service. She ensures our daughter has nutritious meals and everything she needs to feel happy, comfortable and well looked after throughout the day.
We genuinely couldn’t recommend Charlie and Emily highly enough. Their care, kindness and dedication really shine through, and most importantly, our daughter absolutely loves being there. We couldn’t ask for more!

Our now 3.5 year old has been with Charlie from 10 months. We looked at both nurseries and childminders in our search for childcare but immediately upon meeting Charlie knew she was the right choice for our family.
Charlie is warm, enthusiastic and has such a natural way with children….our daughter warmed to her immediately and continues to love everyday she spends at Charlie’s house.
Spending time with other childminders and their children, our daughter is extremely social and confident whilst also benefitting from the home-from-home comfortable familiarity that only a childminder can offer.
As well as daily updates provided by Charlie, we learn all about the developmentally-focussed and different fun activities she does daily when she gets home…and what home-cooked meal was on offer!!

It is with a very heavy heart that we are moving on from Charlie due to moving house. I simply can’t recommend Charlie enough, she is amazing. She has looked after both my children for 16 months and they have grown to adore her and her children.
Charlie always has a fantastic week planned with the children including arts and crafts, outings, physical and social activities. She would take my youngest (who is 2 and doesn’t go to nursery school yet) to lots of play groups and children events each week so he can get to experience play with other children. Here she makes sure he can develop his relationship and communication skills. Charlie does wonderful craft and cooking activities with all the children and my daughter would come home with some beautiful elaborate works of art. Charlie makes a huge effort to plan gift making or card making for birthdays and other public celebrations which is fun for the children and means a lot for the parents to receive them. Charlie taught my daughter to write her name and continual assists in her learning and development.
We can rely on Charlie to give the children fun packed, safe and interesting days. The children are surrounded by love and happy times with all the correct boundaries. We are so incredibly sad to be leaving her and her children.
