About Me

I am married and have two children of my own, a daughter who is 25 years old and a son aged 21 years old, who are both DBS checked. I am an Ofsted Childminder (Graded 'Good - Met' on Inspection) for over 15 years and I am also a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY). I comply with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and strive to provide on excellent service that meets the parents needs whilst ensuring a safe, caring, loving environment for the children under my care.
I am able to work with children of all ages and abilities. I can observe, asses, plan stimulating and challenging activities for the children.
I promote positive relationships between myself, parents and all the other carers involved with the children's care to ensure consistency.
I offer a rage of communication methods to ensure parents are being informed of their child's health, growth and learning development.
We live in a very spacious apartment with plenty of indoor/outdoor activities, especially messy play, visiting local parks, museums, going outs which are based on my children's interests.
I also attend our local library, visit soft play centres and parks weekly. I have a good selection of toys, arts/crafts, books, also quiet/reading area.
