Hi there my name is Nicky, I am 48 yrs old and a mum to 3 fab children (twin's who are 26 and an 18 yr old.
I am currently living in Nunhead with my husband,youngest daughter and our cheeky frenchie Winston .I love nothing more than be out and about and exploring what the world has to offer and having fun along the way .and then nothing beats spending quality time with my family.I also do love a holibob .
My Experience
I have worked as a sole charge nanny for many yr's nearly 28 to date...there is nothing more rewarding than supporting little people to learn and grow ,to simply be happy and well cared for .a typical day for us would be a different playgroup age appropriate ( everyone jokes im the black cabie of play groups in our local area!).. soft plays, Music activities museums ,.outdoor ,indoor activities in the afternoon ( weather permitting) and lots of different parks ,we love exploring park areas .im very proactive with being out and about in all weathers.mixing with other children and creating new friendships and playdates .I have looked after babies, twins and children of all ages and have no preference.
As a parent myself j know how important it is to find the right person to take care of your child .A happy child = happy parents .

Level 2 food hygiene
Level 2 health and social care
Level 2 safe guarding of children
Paediatric first aid recently renewed march 2024
Ofstead registered

My Availability
My availability is mon/Friday
I am currently already in an established sole charge role with a family i have been with for 4 years .they have 2 children G5 & B2.5 this coming September 2024 B will be going to nursery so they will only require me for after school hours and school holidays therefore i am looking for a sole charge position to fill the days up while the children are at school .we would all share the role after school hours and holidays. Also considering permanent sole charge of a completely new family but would prefer the later of a share .
Refrences can be forwarded as required .
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (net)
My charge is £18
Share rate is £12.50.
Sibling rate additional and at a discounted rate and can be discussed.

Nicky is with us at the moment, she is the most amazing nanny and I can't recommend her highly enough! She will be leaving us in the summer only because my older one is now at school and my little one is going to pre-school, but I wish she could stay forever!
Nicky is so kind and caring, my kids love her (and often shout this from the door as she leaves!). They are happy to go to her in the morning and always come home smiling and happy. She is also extremely competent and experienced, so I never have to worry about anything - she takes the stress out of childcare. She organises fun and action packed days at local playgroups, classes and time with other nannies/ kids, as well as necessary downtime and age-appropriate learning. As a busy household of working parents, we also appreciate that she takes care of the kids meals, is always punctual, leaves things tidier than she finds them and babysits. We are excited for her to find her next family!

We have been lucky enough to have Nicky in our lives for six wonderful years. She was an amazing nanny to my eldest daughter from 12 months and then took on looking after her sister. Both girls adore their Nanny Nicky - and so do we! Now the girls are at school, Nicky helps out with babysitting - she is now firmly part of our family!
Nicky is full of love, but with the right balance of firm but fair. She is an amazing teacher, encyclopedia of free play groups, great with food and big believer in being out and about. She is extremely professional - she always arrives early and keeps the kitchen immaculately clean.

Nicky has looked after our daughter since she was 10 months in June 2020, and then our son after he was born in 2021. She is the most wonderfully proactive nanny, taking them to playgroups, parks, play dates, teaching them the alphabet, reading to them and doing all kinds of crafts. She is flexible, punctual but most importantly has a brilliant way with children. They adore her and Nicky is very much part of the family. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.
