About Me
I can offer your child a home from home experience in a safe, fun environment, with real life learning experiences. We do a lot of our learning outside enjoying the outdoors, we have fun trips to the supermarket and the children take their own shopping lists, we plant flowers and vegetables in the garden. We regularly visit public play areas, we take part in story time at the library, local community and toddler groups and we go to Kidsworld and Woburn Safari Park, all enabling your child to mix with other children in the local community and have access to different resources and play equipment. I work closely with another childminder and usually spend most days of the week with them so all the children can play together and develop their social skills with both other children and other adults. We can often be found at the river or local brook feeding the ducks, pond dipping, having picnics in the park, and we also take bus and train rides… just because its fun!
My Experience
I have been a childminder for the last 18 years. I have three children of my own who are now teenagers, two of which are twins so have experience of multiple siblings.
My Qualifications
I hold a valid first aid certificate and a level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education. I attend regular training courses to ensure continuous professional development to ensure my knowledge and skills are up to date.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday and can accommodate most shift patterns and working hours.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My current charges are £5.50per hour which includes snacks and lunch. A small fee is charged for dinner.

Helen looked after my son from about a year to two and a half years and provided excellent care. She was always out and about doing activities and my son often came home with various craft items he had made. He loved going to her and even over a year later will still talk about trips he did with her like going on the bus to town with his best friend.
Overall
Helen has been my daughters childminder since she was six months old and she has loved everyminute with Helen. Now she is starting School in Septmeber and is a confident, sociable, bright and creative /artistic child which isl testament to Helens care and attention as I don't have an artistic bone in my body !!
I can thoroughly recommend Helen both in terms of her care for my Daughter and her flexibility to me as a Mother. She has never let me down and provides a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment.
Erin is always happy to go to Helens and is sometimes too busy having a good time to want to come home.
