About Me

I am Amy, I am 24 and I recently moved to Broadway.

I hold NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Learning and Childcare and have over 5 years experience working in childcare.

I was working as a nanny in the London area since March 2019, including some housekeeping duties. The children I have looked after have been aged between 1-10.

Whilst working in a nursery, I had 12 key children. I really enjoy working with children, doing lots of different activities with them and watching them develop.

My Experience

I was working as a nanny since March 2019, including some housekeeping duties. The children I have looked after have been aged between 1-10. My duties include buying groceries, cooking healthy meals, clearing up after mealtimes, setting out activities. During school holidays, we have been on days out, small trips and the baby was taken to baby classes. In term time, each child was taken to individual after school clubs in different areas. In the evening, I follow the children’s bedtime routines, including bath time.

I did work in very busy childcare settings for the previous 4 years. I’ve also got a lot of experience of babysitting both young toddlers and older children.

I have gained lots of experience working at nursery, and have worked with children ages 12 weeks to 5 years, I have been based in Preschool, 2-3's and was mostly based in the 1-2 year old’s room, with up to 12 key children.

My brother is now 15 years old, but when he was younger I looked after him whilst my mum was at work or away for about 6-7 years.

My Qualifications

- GCSE's in English, Maths, Science, Business Studies & Child Development
- NVQ Level 2 in Children and Young Peoples workforce
- NVQ Level 3 in Early Learning and Childcare
- Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 Food Hygiene
