About Me
Hi! My name is Jazzy and I am a qualified nanny with over 30 years of experience. I have worked with children of all ages from as young as newborn babies up to the teenage years - including two sets of twins, one set whom I was with for nine years, as well as caring for multiple children at a time.
I am a very caring, nurturing and patient person who really enjoys looking after children and getting to know them as individuals, being sensitive to their needs so as to enable them to feel happy in my care. My favourite part about being a nanny is watching the little ones I care for blossom into lovely little individuals and I love watching them reach their milestones whilst encouraging healthy development. My experience is varied because I have cared for children of many ages, so includes sleep training, weaning, age-appropriate activities and potty-training.
It's very important to me that the parents of the children I look after are happy and that we have a good working relationship, allowing us to communicate with each other to the benefit of the children - this has enabled me to develop excellent parent partnership and communication skills. My main priority is always the happiness of the whole family. (I also love animals as well, so I am happy to work for families that have furry friends!)
My favourite types of activities include sensory and messy play, outdoor play, fun and creative games, singing and dancing and bringing lots of laughter and joy to the day!
My Experience
Nanny Experience
• Provided engaging and stimulating activities including sensory, messy and creative play in order to meet developmental milestones.
• Traditional weaning and prepared a variety of healthy and tasty meals and snacks for baby from scratch.
• Assisted and supported parents with different challenges, e.g, developmental concerns
• Planned the day's outings to playgroups, parks, libraries, cafes and galleries/museums etc whilst keeping a good routine in place.
• School drop off and pick up
• Domestic help - cooking, cleaning and carrying out occasional household shopping
• Full nursery duties - including domestic help, laundry, housekeeping and cleaning of areas used by child.
• Intimate care - nappy changes, potty training, bath time and bedtime routines
• Kept parents well informed through daily updates, pictures and notes on each day spent together
My Qualifications
I have a PPA certificate for the under-fives where they learn through Play. I am paediatrics first aid trained which is up to date.have a DBS certificate.and am about to finish a autism awareness course.and am also going to continue learning sign language .in the new year .
My Availability
I am looking for part time work up to 25hrs a week and currently am unable to offer babysitting. I can do any day but not weekends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
