About Me

My name is Chiara Deanna Speroni and I am a 39-year old resourceful, caring and dedicated individual with over 12 years experience looking after children of all ages (from babies to teenagers). Working as a nanny has been essential for me to develop the skills to assist the parents in the best interest of their children and I truly love the possibility it gives me to see them grow and strive in their lives.

I am an happy go lucky person with a positive outlook on life. I am patient, proactive, reliable and I genuinely enjoy my time with children. I always put the kids at the centre of my attention, although I am genuinely happy to muck in with light housekeeping if and as needed and I am always happy to hit the ground running. I am naturally caring and supportive and I prefer to communicate gently. Previous employers have said that my positive attitude to life, honesty and smile are a great building block towards establishing healthy relationships. I am dedicated to truly listening to the children and parents to make sure I can attend their needs in their best individual interest, while maintaining harmony in the whole family.
I am very communicative and I have a warm personality; I appreciate employers who can make me feel part of the family, however I fully understand the importance of respecting private time and can easily read the room and understand when it is time to step back. My goal is to raise strong, independent, emotionally mature, kind and resilient children, preparing them for a successful life in society.

I am an active, sporty and outdoorsy person. I have a big love for travel and I have been on some beautiful solo backpacking adventures and remote places. I love wild camping adventures too and more comfortable camping on my campervan. I love going to the gym regularly, inline skating, hiking, climbing as much as a quiet day at home reading my beloved books with a cuppa and a log fire on. I do my best to embrace a minimalist lifestyle and find value in the small things.

After spending the last 5 years wjth the same family and leaving only because they don't need me as much anymore, I am really hoping to find a good match and stay for many years to come.

I look forward to hearing from you. Hope you have a nice day!
