About Me
I am a mother to a little girl and a little boy, I am reliable, fun, kind and have a passion for working with children. I have worked in a nursery setting (and nannying) for 8 years+, I have worked with children from 4months - 4years and helped out with after school clubs for children up to 11/12 years of age, Previous to this job, i also have nannying experience, most recently for a family with a 3 year old and 6/7 year old, which entailed school run, groups and activities in the day/summer holidays, meal times, Bathtime and homework. Plus various other nanny roles with varied ages (happy to discuss in detail), I enjoy being outside and love animals, I feel I interact well with children and enjoy their company, I'm very sporty and active and enjoy going to the gym and socialising with friends, but most of all being a mother.
My Experience
A little about my experience in child care- I'm a responsible 28 year old who loves working with children. I’m currently working along side a childminder in a home setting, I have done some nannying for a couple of families over the last 6ish years between other jobs and my last nanny role was for a family a with children ages 3 and 6/7, I have worked in a nursery setting for 7/8 years and worked with babies/ children aged between 4 months - 4 years and after school club with children up to the ages of 11/12, I absolutely love my job working with children, I also have to observe the children and have full use of the EYFS and making learning journals of the children's progress, also to have excellent parent partenership, be proactive at meal times with the children (being mindful of allergies and intolerances), nap times, changing nappies, dealing with first aid, and making sure the children are in a safe and happy environment. I previously worked as a swim teacher, which ranged between children aged 3-10. I would love to help out with nannying/baby sitting, or working along side a mother to help out with a young baby, overall I have alot of experience with children of different ages from newborn.
