Hello, thank you for viewing my profile...
My name is Jenny and I'm happily married to Tony. We have a Daughter called Charlotte, who was born in March 2010. We live in Abbots Langley, have a lovely playroom and a large child friendly garden.
Fun loving and committed, I have always loved spending time with children. I am reliable, honest and dependable.
My aim is to bring children I care for, up in a homely, loving, well mannered, friendly environment. I will work with you as a parent to be as consistent as I possibly can. I will do my best to accommodate any routines into my day to day activities.
We enjoy attending playgroups, playing with toys, reading stories, singing nursery rhymes, going to the park and generally being outside. We love spending time in the company of other children and regularly go to play groups and music classes. Above all we just love to have fun!
After having my Daughter I chose not to return to my previous occupation. I decided that I wanted to give my Daughter the best start I possibly could, especially in her early years. It has been the most rewarding time of my life and made me realise that I wanted to be there for other children too.
I am registered with Ofsted (graded ‘good’ in all my inspections in November 2015 and April 2012). I have had a CRB check (clear), completed the paediatric first aid course and attended a Safeguarding course. I have also passed the CYPOP5 Level 3 course - 'Home-based childcare for childminders and nannies'.
I can drop off and collect from Abbots Langley Pre-school, Abbots Langley Nursery and Abbots Langley School.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I am experienced in looking after children of various ages. I presently care for children in the Early Years (0 - 5 years) and school aged children (5+ years) (before and after school and in school holidays). I also have experience of childminding twins.

Jenny Haynes has looked after my two children for the whole of the last academic year, picking my son up from nursery and caring for him during the afternoon, then picking my daughter up from school and caring for them both until I finish work. I can honestly say that Jenny has been the most reliable, caring and conscientious childminder and has often gone over and above what is required of her. Jenny ensures that the children participate in interesting and educational activities and they have a weekly theme to focus on, which my son has really enjoyed. Jenny has taken him to weekly play group and a weekly visit to the library and has a lovely safe garden to play outside in. Jenny provides a healthy lunch and writes in a contact book so that I can see what he has done / eaten each day/week. Jenny has written a detailed learning journey for my son which clearly shows with photographs and drawings all that they have been up to this last year. Both my children love Jenny and love going to her house and Jenny provides the strong peace of mind you need as a parent to know that your children are in safe hands.
I would strongly recommend jenny to anyone who is looking for a reliable and trustworthy childminder. Jenny has looked after my little girl after school for 2 years now. she does lots of different activities with the children she cares for and provides lots of communication so you know what they have been up to, I especially like the ad hoc pictures I get, makes work more bearable! She also lives in a warm house with a lovely garden and facilities. Would highly recommend. Regards, louise
Jenny has been a fantastic childminder for our daughter. Our daughter enjoyed going there and Jenny has always been so organised and flexible when we've needed extra help. They do lots of nice activities and we have always had really good feedback from her about what has happened that day. The house always seems calm and has a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend her.
Jennyhaynes has cared for our children with great affection and care - they love spending time with her, and enjoy all the activities they do with her,
The variety of activities is wonderful and I feel my children have benefited from being in her care - they always come home with special items they have , but most importantly lots of wonderful happy memories to treasure forever.I can honestly say she's the next best person, other than a parent for your children to spend their precious time with.
Jenny has worked with my girls Olivia & Amelia since September 2011 and are only leaving her care because they start school. She has been wonderful looking after the girls and they will miss her dreadfully. Jenny has provided a fun, stimulating environment to the point where some days the girls did not want to come home (a sign of a wonderful childminder).
She follows the EYFS framework closly ensuring that the girls were developing and learning also ensuring that she kept a learning journey updated along the way. I was also kept updated via a daily dairy documenting what they got up to, any milestones/achievements/comments during the day. This was very reassuring for me due to the fact that I was not with them but felt by this diary that I was part of their day to day fun. She has a lovely set up at home with plenty of toys to keep little ones busy and trips to local playgroups.
The girls have grown immensely in her care and grown into confident, bubbly little ladies. Jenny takes pride in ensuring there are lots of outdoors activities and gives the girls little tasks like counting vans on the walk home from her care to tell her in the morning.
A nurturing person who takes pride in taking special care of a child as if it were her own. Trustworthy, kind and friendly, I can't think of anyone better to look after your child. Thanks Jenny, we will miss you.. xx
