About Me
I'm a qualified children's educator, spoken word and multimedia artist who loves being outside, gardening, cooking and crafting all sorts of stuff: from upcycling recycled materials to clay, embroidery, sewing, etc. I love animals and often dog-sit. I have a cat and live with a dog. I also love spending time with children and learning from them. I have plenty of references and have stayed in touch with most of the families of the children I've ever looked after :)
I'm a native Spanish speaker (and a qualified Spanish Tutor), so I can teach your children some words too!
My Experience
I have a NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education and I'm also a Spanish teacher as a second language. I have around 6 years of experience working with children both in nursery settings and as a nanny and babysitter. I had to interrupt my last job due to caring responsibilities but I'm looking to get back to work and provide a family (and their little ones) with a reliable, hard working helping hand. I'm currently an Anthropology and Media student at Goldsmiths therefore a part time position would be ideal.
Before working in Childcare, I used to work in hospitality which helped me improve my English and social skills, always babysitting for local parents and friends throughout the four years I have lived in England and my last 3 years in Spain.
I also have experience as an after school volunteer at Hackney Pirates helping children from 7 to 10 years old improve their literacy skills and confidence.
DBS Checked.
