About Me

Hi! I'm Amparo (31 years old)...Very organised, friendly, reliable and hard worker person who always demand the highest level of professionalism in every task I am involved, with the ability to work effectively with children. I love taking care of children and helping them in everyday tasks.

I graduate in Sciences of Education (University of Valencia, Spain). Because of my interest in Special Educational Needs, at the end of my degree I did a Masters degree in Intervention of Learning Disabilities.

I specialized in autism spectrum disorders in children, youngsters and adults and I have worked in associations and centers of early years autism support.
I have worked from people with low cognitive level to adults with Asperger Syndrome who have completed studies but they have difficulties using their social skills.

My Experience

I have worked with children in an early stimulation centre. I have done activities with them to increase their cognitive development, development of the game and diverse aspects of learning.
I used TEACCH methodology and augmentative communication systems as PECS. I used different social skills programs and intervention with families and school.

I have also had previous and fantastic experiences before as a nanny with a 1 years old girl and a 2 years old boy.
Duties: Care for the children and tend to their needs at all the times, keeping safe, secure and happy. Take the children to and from activities and playground. Preparing healthy, nutritious and varied meals for the children, Keeping the children's areas clean and tidy. Carry out activities to entertain the children and provide a fun and stimulating environment. Ensure that the children are engaged in a balance of stimulating and relaxing mental and physical activities throughout the day.
