About Me

I live in Stannington Sheffield 6 and enjoy walking, craft activities, camping and reading.

My Experience

I have worked in childcare for 18 years. I worked at a pre school with children aged 2 to 4 years for 17 years and at an after school club with children aged 4 to 11 years for a year. I am committed to the delivery of good practice within the child care sector. I am a conscientious worker who will work hard to provide an enabling environment in which children feel confident, safe and engaged. I believe in engaging children in decision making (age appropriately) by providing a listening ethos. I encourage children to be involved in choosing activities which also contributes to their well being and self esteem. I am a good communicator with both adults and children. I have a good attendance record for my current job and I am a good time keeper.

My Qualifications

NVQ level 3 in childcare
Certificate in early years practice
Degree in early years practice.

My Availability

I am available from 3pm until 7.30pm Monday’s only at the moment and Tuesday between the hours of 11am and 2pm.
