About Me
I am able to offer a fun home from home environment for your child.
As a childminder, I offer school pick up and after school activities, and ad hoc school holiday care, available from September 2026 between 9am & 6pm.
School pick up can be Christ Church or Burlington - depending on day and availability
As I’ve changed to include ad hoc care, It will mean for those of you who’s little ones attend a term time only setting and need assistance during holidays, I will be happy to help where possible.
I’ve been a registered childminder since 2014 and although starting a new project Term time, I didn’t want to let go of this part of my job which I love!!
Im very happy to let the children guide me with what they would like to do, as well as following guidelines set by the Early Years Foundation to allow me to be aware of how the children are progressing in my setting, and if they need any extra assistance.
I would like to have a good clear line of communication with you the parent too, keeping you updated on what we are doing and have you be involved where you can. I am happy to do daily updates via WhatsApp, emails or whatever is most convenient for you.
I will aim to keep all children in a safe and fun environment, away from stress and negativity, places to relax if needed and run about if they want. Every child is different and it's important they are treated as such.
I’m very flexible with times and availability and happy to meet beforehand to discuss properly.
We’ve recently introduced a puppy to our family! Little Frankie is a fluffy cavapoochon, who has access to his own play space if he or the children need it. He’s used to and loves attention! Children will be taught how to treat him nicely, and concerns I’m happy to address.
My Experience
I have a daughter who is now 11 who has certainly kept me busy, and my not so baby boy who Is nearly 10.
I do regular babysitting for children ranging from 6 months - 9 years, happy to feed, bathe, read to and put to bed if required.
I used to nanny for a little boy and had taken my little girl along with me, taking them to the park, soft plays and playgroups in the local area.
Previously working in Optics for over 12 years, on maternity leave I decided now was the time for me to train and learn about what I had always wanted to do... Best decision I've ever made!

I am required to keep up to date on all my training, so continue to do courses on safeguarding, health and safety, food hygiene and any other topics to help keep my business refreshed with all the latest developments.
My Availability
Offering ad hoc care continuously any times between 9:00 and 18:00 for all school holidays.
If I’m able to offer after school care, I offer fixed fee of pick up until 6pm at £25
Babysitting available from 730pm 6 days a week
Holidays around 20 days a year (pretty much all taken in half term) with a minimum of 4 weeks notice beforehand. I have a good network of childminders around me so will always assist in finding temporary care if I am unavailable, at minimum inconvenience to yourself.

- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
Babysitting 7-late weekday or weekend from £15
Childminding fees include dinner and activities .
All nappies and wipes to be provided by parents please. (If applicable)

We are so lucky to have met Nicola! She made the transition so easy for our little boy who was 16 months when he started going to her. Our son absolutely loves her, he calls for her on the weekends and is absolutely happy in the mornings when we drop him off.
Nicola takes him out to playgroups, parks and for walks. They do activities together and she keeps us informed of the activities with photos and videos.
She’s sweet and gentle with him, taking his lead for activities and genuinely enjoying the time with him. We love her, can not recommend her enough.

As a first time Mum, to say I was nervous about putting my baby boy into childcare during a pandemic was an understatement but I needn't have worried - Nic Nic is exceptional. She looked after my son from 7 months until 14 months when we moved house. My son loves her and still calls her on his play phone 6 months on :). One of the many things I loved about Nic Nic was her positivity - her encouragement of my son came through so clearly on all the videos we'd receive via WhatsApp and he thrived in her care. I was told about his progress, quirks and felt we discovered many likes and dislikes together - she was an incredible support.
A great communicator, energetic, fun, encouraging, nurturing and trustworthy. Any child would be lucky to have her as their childminder.
We really miss Nic Nic and her whole family but feel we've made friends for life.
