About Me
Hi, my name is Caroline and I am currently going through the Ofsted pre-registration process to return to childminding after previously working as a registered childminder. I have always had a passion for working with children and creating a warm, safe and caring home-from-home environment where children can learn, grow and feel valued.
I live in Trowbridge, Wiltshire with my teenage daughter and our friendly cockapoo, Fudge. Alongside my previous childminding experience, I have completed safeguarding and paediatric first aid training.
My aim is to provide children with a nurturing environment where they can learn through play, build confidence and develop socially and emotionally at their own pace. I believe every child is unique and I enjoy supporting children through everyday experiences, creative play and outdoor activities.
I live in a spacious three bedroom house near Paxcroft School. It has a good sized garden, a small kitchen where we can do baking activities, (dependant of age) and there is a lounge for quiet time and play and a downstairs toilet. Nearby is a walkway to fields and a play park where children can explore and use their physical skills.
I look forward to beginning my childminding journey again and welcoming families to Little Barn Owls Childminding
My Experience
I have my own child and worked in a nursery from February 2015 till July 2017 where i completed my level 2, level 3 and all necessary courses. I was a childminder previously for 6 years

My daughter started with caroline in September 2019 and it has been the best decision I have made. Caroline takes care of the children as if they are her own and goes out of her way to provide a high quality care setting for the children. Your child is made to feel like part of her family with all her household contributing to the happiness and wellbeing of the children. My daughter has progressed with her speech, confidence and social skills since being with Caroline. She’s gone above and beyond in the most difficult of times. If you choose to have her as your childminder you won’t regret it, I promise you that.

My daughter has allergy issues, skin issues and never wanted to leave my side. I was so scared at first when searching for a childminder. Caroline has made My daughter feel so welcomed and safe in her home. She is so comfortable and happy there- she doesn’t even say good bye to me anymore when I drop her off! She is also learning and developing so well and I couldn’t feel happier or at ease more knowing this! Couldn’t recommend Caroline enough!
