About Me
Hi I’m Genna, an experienced nanny with my own car and a qualification in Health and Social care. I’m all about creating a fun, caring and loving atmosphere when working with children.
Having my own car means I can do the school run as well as regularly taking the children to local playgroups, farms and day trips. I feel that children learn the most through experiences and that these trips are highly educational.
I’ve been nannying now for 7 years with 4 families. Ages from 7 months - 15 years and have helped them through this time with education, school runs, and general housekeeping. I come from a large family with children from newborn to 15 and so, although I don’t have children of my own, I have lots of experience with all ages.
I have experience with allergies and adapting home cooked meals to suit those allergies. I believe in working closely with the parents of the child or children to provide a flexible and unique service.
I have also experienced working with children who have disabilities, such as ADHD, autism, also have done a short course in ABA ( autism behavioural analysis (therapy) ) it is teaching children in a fun way with sensory play.
My Experience
7 years of Babysitting experience - both paid and for family.
7 years of Nannying experience - 4 families with 3 children from the ages of 7 months - 8 years.
I have also have been a holiday nannying accompanying a family on their holiday to help with childcare.
Fully flexible with a clean driving license and DBS check. I will provide home cooked healthy meals and provide educational activities for the younger children to do during the day (and older during school holidays)
