About Me
My name is Nicola Mccarthy, I am a married women with 4 children aged from 34 to 13 years and I also have 4 grandchildren under the age of 5 .I live in a large 3 bedroom house with front and back garden i work with my daugther in a freindly enviroment,i am reliable and take pride in my work.
I take the children out on a day to day basis and also do in door activites and outdoor we have a bouncy castle & paddling pool depending on weather which the children love
i visit local drop ins,Talacre sports centre,libaries,city farm,hampstead heath feilds etc
We also drop off and pick up from the Rosary school Hampstead
My Experience
Apart from my 9 years experience i have with my own children im also an assistant carer for my mothers foster children.

Nicola is simply the best childminder. With her daughter Sam and sister Hailey, they're the best second family my children could hope for. Nicola's been looking after my daughter since she was 3 and my son since he was 7 month old and they're now 7.5 and 5yo. Nicola is caring, fun, super reliable and flexible. Kids grow in a loving family environment. My children love going to Nicola's, it's their second family really.
Nicola does so much for the kids: she takes them to the city farm, playgounds, parks, she organises picnics, celebrations and fun activities for birthdays, Easter, mother and father's day, Christmas. In Summer, they put a paddling pool in the garden or a bouncy castle. I feel so lucky we found the McCarthys, we couldn't have hoped for a better family to look after our children. I cannot recommend her enough.

Nicola and Sam have been looking after our daughter Ellie since she is 4 months old (She's now 19th months old) from 8.30am to 6pm every day. From day 1, both Nicola and her daughter Sam have offered a nurturing, caring and family like environment. Ellie loves the house, and the other children, she always has a huge smile on her face when we bring her there and collect her.
What we particularly like is that Sam and Nicola always take the children out to local parcs (Hampstead heath, Primrose Hill) and local playgroups. When Ellie was very little, we also asked to get a notebook with information about what her day was like, we really felt like we were not missing out on any of her activities, and we also received some pictures! Every child gets a birthday party and at Halloween and Christmas the kids did a special party.
We could not recommend Nicola and Sam any more, there are simply the best childminders you can find near Chalk Farm/ Kentish town!
