Excellent childminder. Excellent environment.

Adele has been looking after my daughter since April this year. I was returning to work after maternity leave and my daughter was 9 months old and had never been away from me. Adele was really patient with my daughter who initially found it difficult to be separated from me. She also helped to calm me and my husband and assured us that our daughter would settle in time. Within a couple of weeks our daughter was settled in with Adele and she reaches out to Adele upon arrival eager to spend the afternoon with her.
Adele provides support with lots of aspects of childcare. She has helped my daughter to learn to hold her own sippy cup. Provided encouragement with her learning to walk and talk. The first change I noticed with my daughter was her improved speech, this was instant! Adele also speaks French to our daughter and she is developing a great understanding of the French Language. Also my daughter used to struggle to sleep on her own preferring to be carried when sleeping, but since going to Adele she can sleep on her own for 2 hours which is wonderful.
Adele lets the children play in the garden or takes them to the local park very often so my daughter now has a great love of the outdoors. The children always seem to have fun and creative activities to do each day. On father’s day Adele helped my daughter make a present for her father which was so lovely.
Every time I pick up my daughter, she is well looked after and positively happy. I never have to worry about my daughter when I am at work and my mind is at ease.
My husband works shifts and Adele has been so flexible to our needs with the days our daughter attends which has been an incredible help.
I bring food for my daughter daily however I know that Adele would provide a healthy snack like fruit for my daughter if needed.
I would absolutely recommend Adele to any parent and especially parents with young children who have never been away from their mothers. I couldn’t have found any easier transition back into work while being assured that I did not have to worry about my daughter.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

My boys came from a Day Nursery as i was not getting much from the Nursery and not much improvement on my first boy especially so i decided to try a childminder. Adele (we call her TATA at home Aunty in french) is a lovely woman that looks after children like her own...her home is warm and children friendly. The first day i went to few, i just know this is the place for my boys and then Bam!! they are in her care and i am very proud of how far my boys has been so far. There has been a lot of changes in both of them compare to when they started.

My eldest son is getting better with his potty training and also on everything i mention to her at the start.

If you are looking for a childminder that you will be rest assured that your kids are in save hands then do not look far away Adele is the one for you. At the end of everyday she always keep detailed feedback of how the boys did throughout the day and i'm always very pleased at the amount of effort she put into things.

Lovely environment. Nothing but positivity!!

When I first brought my son to Adele, he was 3yrs11months and still in nappies there was no way I could convince him to use the potty! Within 1 month, he was able to even confidently use the toilet without hesitation!! She is very efficient with looking after the other kids, I can go to work without having to worry about my child. She gives me feedback of how my son's day has been when I come to pick my son. My son has also really come out of his shell and is more creative now. He gets so excited in the morning when he is told that Adele is going to be picking him up haha! He never used to like to share but since she started picking my son up he socialises well with other kids and has better sharing skills. So if you are searching for a childminder, there is no doubt that Adele is the one you are looking for. I highly recommend her to all. Thank you for everything Adele!!!

lovely home away from home atmosphere.

When my Son started with Adele he couldnt crawl or walk. Adele work closely with me and matched what I was doing at home to gentle build his confidence. Now he runs, climbs and does all sorts. I also love the fact that my son is in a fully immersed French speaking environment. Now 18months he understands everything Adele says and call her Tata (aunty in French)
Adele goes the extra mile to make sure all her kids are reaching mile stones, by using developmental toys and activities. She takes the kids to mini Montessori from time to time and other play groups. While have a lovely park by her house and a large garden full of fun activities.

Highly recommended French speaking childminder

Adele has been childminding my son B between age 14 months till 2 years in September 2016 till August 2017. She looks after him for 2 days each week.

I have been extremely happy with the care B has received, and the great progress he has made whilst in Adele’s care. Adele’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and B has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though, it is Adele’s warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other childminders we have experienced. Also the fact that she speaks French.

She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know B enjoyed sand and water play, drawing and painting, reading and puzzles as well as outings to the park, local library and soft plays.

Adele is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining B’s confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home. When B steps outside his boundaries she responds with firm but kind discipline explaining what we would like to see in terms which he understands. When he is hurt or feeling under the weather I know that he feels happy to be comforted by her.

Although I provide B’s food each day I know that she will provide healthy snacks such as fruit and crackers if he is exceptionally hungry or keen to eat what the older children are eating. I am also aware that Adele ensures good personal hygiene in encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet. I’m sure that it is this practice together with the cleanliness of Adele’s home which has ensured that B has remained healthy and bug free for the last 11 months.

Adele explained after every day detailing what B has done each day. From this I have a complete picture of his whole day including what he has eaten, how long he has slept and all his activities. This helps me to feel involved with his care and that I can talk to him about his day.

All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care B receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self assured little boy.

I would absolutely recommend Adele as a great and reliable childminder.
