My Experience

I have experience with newborn, babies, toddlers, older kids, multiple kids and teenagers.
I have worked as a leave-in and leave-out Nanny and babysitter and I have had children left in my care and charge while parents travelled for few days.

My childcare experience and duties includes:

Family support worker December 2021 – March 2026
• Working with various families, providing direct and personalised support to parents and their children based on their physical, emotional, and social needs
• Supporting parents with their general and emotional well-being
• Managing challenging behaviours and conducting risk assessments to ensure safety
• Supporting parents with independent living skills e.g learning to cook and feed their children healthy meals, providing baby feeding tips, weaning tips, bathing tips for infant, learning to complete other daily tasks

Full time leave out Nanny June 2020 – July 2024
• Working with a family with three children aged 4 years,2 years, and 3 months old baby.
• My duties include handling all nursery duties for baby, which includes changing his nappy, preparing, and feeding him bottles, washing and sterilising his bottles, settling him for naps, bathing him and sometimes the 2-year-old, taking him to baby groups and park, creating a safe, fun, secure and loving environment for the children, supervising playtime for older two children and encouraging the children to tidy up after, engaging the children in safe and fun play and reading, taking older children to outdoor activities, preparing and serving their breakfast, snacks and dinner, before and after school and nursery and washing/tidying up after, ensuring their wardrobe and bedroom is tidy and clean, manage bedtime routine for the older children.
• On occasions, when parents travelled with older children for some days, baby was left in my care and charge while I temporarily lived in the house to look after him till they return from their travel.


Full time Live-in Nanny March 2019 – May 2020
• Working with a family with one child aged 6 months old
• My duties include preparing and bottle-feeding baby, and eventually weaning and feeding her solids, washing, and sterilising her bottles, nappy change, bathing and dressing her, playtime with toys, takings her to baby groups, music groups, the park, or stroll in the buggy, doing her laundry and changing her cot bedding, ensuring her bedroom and wardrobe is clean, tidy and organised, bedtime routine when mum is working late, light housekeeping and shopping, and ensuring the house is clean and tidy and emptying dishwasher
• On occasions, while parents travelled to functions or out of the country for some days, baby was left in my care for days and nights.


Full time leave out Nanny Sept 2018 – Feb 2019
• Working with family with three children aged 14, 13 and 10 years old.
• My duties include waking the children up to get ready for school in the morning, ensuring they are well dressed for school, ensuring their school bags are properly packed, dropping them to school and pick up after, doing the family laundry and some ironing, supervising and helping with homework, taking them to after school lessons, taking them to cinema and other activities during school holiday, supervising playtime and engaging them in fun and safe play and reading, preparing healthy dinners, light housekeeping and making sure children’s rooms are tidy and organised.
• I was solely in charge of the children when mother travelled out of the country for two weeks.

Full time leave out Nanny Jan 2015 – Aug 2018
• Working with a family with two children aged 1 and 4 years old.
• My duties include school and nursery run for both children, serving meals/snacks and feeding the youngest while I supervise the oldest during mealtimes, tidying up and washing up, bathing the youngest and getting him dressed, taking them to the park, play areas, and kid's friendly activities during school holidays, attending some of their school events and activities, engaging the kids in safe and fun play and reading, supervising and assisting the older with his homework and some school projects.

• Working with different age group from the babies, toddlers, and preschools. Ensuring all daily tasks, childcare duties and nursery duties are completed, while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children.

Full time leave out Nanny May 2009 – 2023
• Working for a family with 2 children. I started with the family when the first child was a new-born, second child was born whist I was still working their. I started as a mother’s help, and few months after became the sole charge nanny.
• My duties include all nursery duties for both babies, potty training, taking children out to playgroups, music groups, soft play centres, engaging them in arts and crafts, fun educational and other age appropriate play, taking them to the park, reading, nursery and school run, all child related housekeeping and laundry, making sure children’s school/nursery are clean and ironed for the week, light housekeeping and tidying up as the family had a housekeeper, cooking for the children and sometimes the parents, bathing the children a dressing them, managing their bedtime routine, implementing and maintaining a healthy and fun routine for the children, whilst ensuring their overall safety and wellbeing.
• Occasional proxy parenting.
