PARENT EMPLOYER REVIEWS - WHAT EXISTING AND PREVIOUS NANNIES SAY
Review 1 - Existing nanny
Works as part-time nanny 3 days after school days and 3 days during holidays covering the period when daughter aged 8 years old to present 10.5 years old.
‘I have worked for Claire for the last 2.5 years and thoroughly enjoy my role looking after her daughter.
She is a delightful and intelligent child and our relationship has blossomed over the past year. I can honestly say this is the most fulfilling and enjoyable role I have ever worked in.
Claire is a caring and supportive employer who is highly experienced. The transition into working within the family was made very easy due to Claire's relaxed manner and thorough knowledge of her daughter’s abilities.
There’s a lot to learn and not all of it will be familiar at first, with some challenging situations, but it’s a truly rewarding role. Claire is a wonderful person to work with offering invaluable advice, guidance & training whilst at the same time allowing my relationship with her daughter to develop naturally.
It’s an absolute privilege to be trusted to work within this lovely family. It continues to be a really rewarding experience and one I can highly recommend.’
Review 2 - Previous nanny
Worked as part-time nanny, half days as part of nanny share whilst daughter was pre-school age. Worked as a nanny for a year when daughter 2-3 years old and a further year ad hoc baby sitting when daughter 3-4 years old. Has kept in contact for the subsequent 5 years.
‘During my employment for Claire, I became very fond of the family especially their daughter who is so delightful and fun loving!
A normal day usually included preparing a meal/snack, clearing away after that meal and general tidying as I went along with our day. Claire’s daughter at the time loved going to the library and walks around the neighbourhood to find geese! I took her daughter to weekly Rhyme Time story and song sessions at the library and also to ad hoc arts and crafts sessions at the local art galleries.
Claire was excellent at clearly explaining the day to day routine and what worked best for her daughter/their requirements. I always felt welcome and respected in their home.
Since I moved away, I've enjoyed keeping in touch with the family and hearing what her daughter likes to do now she's older.’
