About Me
Hi, my name is Charlotte Robertson, and I run Charlie's Cheeky Monkeys an OFSTED Registered Child-minding service. I have two children, Harvey who is 14 years old and Isabella who is 10 years old. We also have a friendly family dog, Islay, who is 15 years old. I moved to Billingshurst in 2014 and have been childminding here since 2015.
I have been childminding now since February 2011.
I have full public liability insurance and everyone living in my home over the age of 16 has had a full CRB check. I also hold a certificate in Paediatric First Aid. I have been inspected by OFSTED prior to registration and have had a health check by my local GP.
My last OFSTED inspection resulted in an award of Good.
I live in a four bed detached house, with a safe and enclosed back garden. I provide the children with lots of different toys and equipment suitable to their ages, and also do activities with the children such as colouring, junk modelling, painting, games, singing etc.
I aim to provide all children with a fun and safe home environment, where they are able to learn through play, in order to thrive and develop.
My Experience
Since leaving university in 2006 with a BA honours degree in International Business with French, I have worked at a telecommunications company as a data analyst. However during my time at university I worked at children’s holiday clubs as assistant supervisor. Since also having my first child, I have come to realise that working with children alongside their parents is something which I have a passion for.
I have been childminding since February 2011.
I feel my experience as a working mummy myself and my experiences of childcare will enable me to give children and parents alike an excellent, flexible childcare solution. I aim to work in partnership with parents to provide a “home from home child-minding service with the benefits of all fun and exciting activities and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum that a nursery can offer.
