About Me

I am 39 with a daughter of my own who i raised independently. She is now older and independent, allowing me time to enjoy time for myself to socialise and keep active, alongside my full time job, which i love. I have worked in childcare since the age of 16 in numerous settings. I am currently working for NHS children's services. I am a friendly caring compassionate person and would like to offer my services to help those families in need and those who just need a little break or some precious time to themselves.

My Experience

I have experience working with all ages and have extensive training and knowledge around children with complex health problems and neonatal infants. I have a great understanding of child development and most importantly know how to play and have fun with children by providing age appropriate activities and meeting their individual needs. As part of my full time job i also run a post discharge developmental baby group where i support and empower new parents in caring for their babys including feeding/weaning advice and sleep routines.

My Qualifications

GNVQ health and social care, level 4 in Early years Nursery Nurse qualification. Distinction in child psychology, paediatric first aid trained, safeguarding level 3, infant feeding trained

My Availability

I am available Friday&Saturday evenings and Saturday/Sunday daytimes.
Weeknights can be offered on request

Didn't show up

Lisa was brilliant when communicating and arranging. She seemed really keen and understanding when she came to our home and met us all as a family, got on really well with the kids and was great asking details about anything they particularly like etc.
Then on the day of first actual job where we were due to go out and leave Lisa with the children she didn't show up with zero communication and nothing since.
