About Me
I am married with 4 children, 3 teenage boys and a 10 year old daughter. I have been working as a registered childminder for the last three and a half years. I decided I to take a break from my teaching career and spend more time at home with my own chidlren and childminding seemed like the perfect solution as it allowed me to work from home and still enabled me to play an important role in the lives of young children and families. My aim as a childminder is to provide a real home from home experience where children can feel relaxed and happy, where they can play, learn, explore and develop at their own pace. I also make great use of local community facilities and the outdoors.
My Experience
I have a primary teaching degree and have worked in both the state and private sector over a period of twenty years as a primary 1-3 teacher and a nursery teacher. In my three and a half years as a childminder I have cared for children from 9 months to 11 years.
